Abstraction

Based on the results of monitoring of rural prices in several regions in Aceh Province in January 2020, a NTP of 101.09 was generated or the index decreased by 0.97 percent. This is due to the index received by farmers (It) increased by 0.20 percent, while the index paid by farmers (Ib) increased by 1.18 percent.

The Price Index Received by Farmers (IT) in January 2020 was recorded at 105.31 or an increase of 0.20 percent compared to the previous period. This is caused by the increase of It in the horticulture subsector, and smallholder plantations.

During January 2020, the Farmer Paid Price Index (IB) in Aceh Province was recorded at 104.17, an increase of 1.18 percent over the previous period. The increase in Ib occurs in all subsectors.

Of the 34 provinces reported, 10 provinces experienced a decline in FTT with the highest number occurring in Aceh by 0.97 percent. While 24 other provinces experienced an increase in FTT with the highest number occurring in Riau by 5.59 percent.

Based on monitoring of household prices in a number of rural areas in Aceh Province during January 2020, there was inflation in rural areas of 1.48 percent.

Of the 10 provinces on the island of Sumatra reported, all experienced inflation with the highest rate in Aceh of 1.48 percent. While the lowest occurred in Riau Islands by 0.42 percent.

During January 2020, GKP quality grain prices at the farm level decreased by 0.17 percent or worth Rp. 8.22 to 4,954.02 rupiah per kilogram. Likewise, at the milling level it decreased by 0.24 percent or as much as Rp. 12.31 to 5,025.45 rupiah per kilogram.
