Production Growth of Medium Large Manufacturing Industry, and Small Micro Industry of Aceh Province Quarter IV of 2019

Abstraction

Production of large medium manufacturing industries in Aceh province in the fourth quarter of 2019 showed a decline compared to production in the third quarter of 2019, which was -4.59 percent (q to q).

Production of large and medium manufacturing industries in Aceh province when compared to 2018 (y on y), experienced a growth of 21.19 percent.

Overall in 2019 production of large and medium manufacturing industries is experiencing negative growth of -13.46 percent.

The production of micro and small manufacturing industries in the fourth quarter of 2019 experienced an increase compared to the production in the third quarter of 2019, with a growth of 0.21 percent (q to q).

Growth in the production of micro and small industries, among others, occurred in other transportation equipment industry by 33.69 percent; pharmaceutical industry, chemical drug products and traditional medicine by 9.39 percent (q to q). Whereas those experiencing negative growth in the fourth quarter of 2019 included the leather industry, leather goods and footwear by -27.01 percent, repair services and installation of machinery and equipment by -24.17 percent.

As compared to the previous year (y on y) micro and small industrial production experienced a production growth of 13.53 percent.

While overall in 2019 the province of micro and small industries in Aceh experienced a positive growth of 23.27 percent.
