Aceh's economy in the second quarter of 2020 as measured by Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices reached IDR 40.06 trillion or US $ 2.81 billion. Meanwhile the GRDP without oil and gas was IDR 38.71 trillion or US $ 2.72 billion.

Aceh's economy with oil and gas quarter II-2020 against quarter II-2019 fell by 1.82 percent (y-on-y). While the y-on-y growth in quarter II-2020 without oil and gas fell by 3.61 percent. From the production side, the highest growth was achieved by the construction business field at 23.94 percent. In terms of expenditure the highest growth was in the gross fixed capital formation component at 7.57 percent.

Aceh's economy with oil and gas quarter II-2020 when compared to quarter I-2020 (q-to-q) decreased by 1.28 percent. While q-to-q without oil and gas also decreased by 3.75 percent. From the production side, the highest growth was achieved by mining and quarrying fields by 27.80 percent. In terms of expenditure the highest growth was in the government consumption expenditure component of 77.62 percent.

The economy of Aceh in the first half of 2020 against the first half of 2019 (c-to-c) grew by 0.63 percent with oil and gas, while without oil and gas it grew by 0.24. From the production side, the highest growth was achieved by the construction business field at 21.43 percent. In terms of expenditure the highest growth was in the gross fixed capital formation component at 8.26 percent.
