Abstract

In May 2025 there was year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Aceh Tamiang Regency of 1.33 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 108.71.
Y-on-y inflation occurred due to price increases as indicated by the increase in most expenditure group indices, among others: food, beverages, and tobacco group by 1.82 percent; clothing and footwear by 1.49 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 0.08 percent; household supplies, equipment and routine maintenance group by 1.21 percent; health group by 0.46 percent; transportation group by 0.27 percent; information, communication, and financial services group by 0.17 percent; recreation, sports, and culture group by 1.90 percent; education group by 5.14 percent; and personal care and other services group by 3.81 percent.
The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate and year to date (y-to-d) inflation in Aceh Tamiang District in May 2025 amounted to 1.36 and 0.64 percent, respectively.
